"When we're consistently putting ourselves in position to
make a splash in the league, that's what we want here. I'm
excited with the amount of buzz around the program. There should always
be a buzz around Bowling Green hockey. Now, the responsibility is on
everyone in our program to keep that buzz going. I don't know how to
define 'turn the corner', but our school, our program, everyone around our
program, deserves to have a buzz around the program. When we're con-
sistently doing that, is maybe when I'll use that phrase," - BG head coach

- This past weekend the Falcons dropped a pair of games at the 2007 Badger
Hockey Showdown, hosted by the University of Wisconsin. In Friday's 4-3
semifinal loss to Northeastern, BG saw a 3-0 second period lead evaporate as
the 11th-ranked Huskies scored four unanswered goals in the second and third
period to steal the win. On Saturday, the Falcons battled back from a 2-0 deficit
in the first period to tie the game at 2-2, before the 13th-ranked Badgers tallied
three unanswered goals in the late second and early third period to earn a 5-3
win in the tournament's consolation match.
- FR G Nick Eno gave up a new career-high five goals in Saturday's 5-3 loss to
Wisconsin. Coming into the consolation tilt, the freshman netminder hadn't al-
lowed more than three goals in a game as he was saddled for his second-straight
loss for the first time in his collegiate career.
- The 4-3 loss to Northeastern on Friday was the first for BG after leading at the
first intermission and just the second when tallying the game's first point as they
were 7-0-0 and 7-1-0, respectively in those two miscellaneous categories.
- The Falcon penalty-kill has continued to dominate over the last two months as
teams are just 2-for-34 (.059) against the Falcons on the power play in the last
eight games and 4-for-45 (.089) in the last 10. BG held their two tournament
opponents to 0-for-6 on the weekend.
