Have you ever wanted to skate on the same ice as the RED WINGS?!? Well, here’s 3 easy ways your team could have the chance!

Youth Hockey Pre-Games

The Detroit Red Wings are proud to host youth hockey games prior to most Red Wings home games. These games give Mini-Mite through Bantam teams the chance to skate on the home ice of the 10 time Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings.

Teams that are selected to participate in a youth hockey pre-game purchase tickets to that night’s Red Wings game in order to stay and enjoy the game after their youth game. If the Red Wings game permits, 4 skaters (3 for mini-mite teams) and 1 goalie from each team are chosen to participate in a shootout during the intermission of the Red Wings game. These players experience what it’s like to be a professional hockey player and skate in front of a crowd of up to 20,000 people.

If you are interested in participating in a Detroit Red Wings Youth Hockey Pre-game, please fill out the downloadable application below. Please note that due to the demand of these games, filling out an application does not guarantee you a spot in the program. Please also note that the Detroit Red Wings will schedule your opponent from our waiting list, please do not request a specific team to play against.

CCHA Mite Jamboree

The CCHA Mite Jamboree gives mite house and travel teams the opportunity to play a game at Joe Louis Arena. The Mite Jamboree will be taking place in March. The price per team is $480 and includes:

• 1 game at Joe Louis Arena

• 25 tickets to the CCHA Championship Tournament

• 25 food vouchers for a free slice of pizza and a pop at Joe Louis Arena during the CCHA Championship

• 25 tickets to the CCHA Awards Banquet (the Oscars of College Hockey)

• 15 8x10 team photos at center ice

• A t-shirt for al participating players

• Participation in an on-ice parade during the CCHA Championship Tournament congratulating all participating teams

Joe Louis Arena Squirt Showcase

The Joe Louis Arena Squirt Showcase gives squirt house and travel teams the opportunity to play a game at Joe Louis Arena. The squirt showcase will be held in February. The price to participate is $445 and includes:

• 1 game at Joe Louis Arena

• 30 tickets to the MSU vs. LSSU college hockey game at Joe Louis Arena on February 25.

• A t-shirt for all participating players

• 15 8x10 team photos at center ice

• A PA welcome for your team at the MSU vs. LSSU college hockey game
